Well Geoff being sick would explain a lot. Sounds like the show Friday night was much better than the Saturday show.

I wish I was going to Rocklahoma because according to the Queensryche website, they will be performing Operation Mindcrime in it's entirety at Rocklahoma. Dokken is performing there too, the whole band, not just Don. Maybe next year.....

If you thought Queensryche was going to play both Mindcrimes on 2-2-08 in Chicago, you're about two years behind. That was the 2006 U.S. tour, though they will play both Mindcrimes in Europe in June 2008. I went to Queensryche's Friday 2-1-08 show, where they played for two hours. They played 19 songs, ranging from The Warning to Take Cover. They left out "Silent Lucidity," though they did play other songs with acoustic guitars: "Real World," "The Killing Words," and "Bridge." They played "Jet City Woman" Friday but didn't play "Hostage."

Also, Dokken has been promoted for Chicago and throughout this tour as performing solo and acoustic. Doing some basic homework will save you disappointment.

I will agree with you about Smith & Wollensky, the Sheraton hotel, and Howl At The Moon. All three are great places.
