2009 Des Moines Rib America Festival – Dates and Band Info

The 2009 Rib America Festival in Des Moines will be July 16, 2009 through July 19, 2009 and will be held at the Iowa Events Center in downtown Des Moines.

The festival features BBQ ribs and outdoor music! Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show. Admission is FREE before 6:00 PM on Thursday and Friday and before 1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, admission is $5 after those times and admission includes the concerts. Children 12 and under are always free. There are also reserved seats available for the concerts. A limited number of seats are set up in front of the stage. The reserved seats are $25 each for Friday and Saturday performances and $20 each for Thursday and Sunday. Present your reserved ticket for $10 in food and beverage tickets. Reserved tickets purchased before July 15 include your $5 admission. Buy your reserved tickets here!

Brian and I have not attended the Rib America festival in Des Moines but we do attend the one in St. Louis every year.  The BBQ is always awesome and music in the great outdoors is a favorite summer activity for us.  If you attend the Des Moines festival, be sure to let us know all about your Rib Fest experience!!
