Admission to the music festival is free before 5:00 PM Friday and 1:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. After these times it is $5.00. Reserved seating is available for the concerts and the ticket price varies. We have bought reserved seats for the last two years and they are worth every penny!

Why can’t people bring camera’s with real lenses like a nikon or canon telephoto lenes?

Every venue has it’s own rules about cameras. Some venues don’t allow cameras at all. I recommend calling ahead or checking the website to find out what the rules are. Most of the outdoor festivals will allow a camera as long as it doesn’t have a telephoto lens. Usually you can only use that type of lens if you have a media pass.
We have a Canon Powershot SX10 IS and we have always been able to take it into the concert area (as long as cameras are allowed) and are usually able to get some great shots.
