Axl Rose Being Sued for Breach of Contract

According to the New York Times, Axl Rose is being sued for $1.9 million in unpaid fees by the company that managed him for the last two years.

Irving Azoff founder and CEO of Front Line Management filed suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court on March 25, 2010 for breach of oral contract stating Axl Rose was obliged to pay 15% of his gross earnings as a performer. Recent concerts have grossed 12.5 million in Asia, South America and Canada. Axl Rose has not paid the management fees for these concerts.

Axl Rose has a new manager, Doc McGhee, and he did not respond to inquiries about the suit. Irving Azoff is also the executive chairman of Live Nation Entertainment, the company that merged with Ticketmaster in February of 2010.
