Jason Bonham leaves Foreigner – Joins Led Zeppelin?

On August 22, 2008 in an interview with the “JJ & Lynne” morning show on 94.7 WCSX station in Detroit, MI Jason Bonham announced that he is leaving Foreigner at the end of this month.  He also talked about going to England a couple of times to jam with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.  Jason didn’t talk about specific details just that they are doing some new material and writing.  Robert Plant has not been involved. 

This news raises some questions of course.  Who will play drums on the remainder of the Foreigner tour?  Is Led Zeppelin going to release a new album?  Will Robert Plant be involved?

Good questions…I guess we’ll have to wait for the answers.
