May & June 2008 – New Music Releases

Here are some of the new CD’s we bought in May and some of the CD’s being released in June that we are looking forward to. I know the list is quite a mixture of genre, but we just like so many different kinds of music. If you have heard any of these CD’s, please post a comment and let us know what you thought.

Filter – Anthems for the Damned – released 5/13/08
Dokken – Lightning Strikes Again – released 5/13/08
The Chevelles – Barbarella Girl God – released 5/27/08
Enuff Z’nuff – Brothers – released 5/27/08
Bret Michaels - Rock My World – to be released 6/3/08
Disturbed – Indestructible – to be released 6/3/08
Weezer – The Red Album – to be released 6/3/08
Metallica – The Halcyon Years DVD – to be released 6/10/08 – This DVD is being released to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary.
Iced Earth - I Walk Among You (single) – to be released 6/10/08 – This is a single sung by original vocalist Matthew Barlow. Chapter 2 of the Something Wicked story will be released later this year.

Here are sample and downloadable MP3 tracks of most of these new albums. I was not able to find any sample tracks for Metallica or Iced Earth. They are available in the Rock store though.
