Here are some tidbits from the rock music headlines.

Megadeth is scheduled to perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon September 17, 2009. Enter the Band Bench sweepstakes for your chance to win band bench seats and the opportunity to surround the stage while Megadeth performs.

Rumors of a possible tour with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax surface. Rumor has it that Lars Ulrich of Metallica is planning the tour, as told to Metal Hammer magazine by Kerry King of Slayer.

Liam Gallagher walks out on Oasis again. According to The Sun Newspaper he had been drinking heavy during their tour, taunting Noel’s girlfriend and other members of the band.

Members of Metallica, Killswitch Engage, Korn and others recorded a song for Chi Cheng, the bassist of the Deftones, who was involved in a car accident and has been in a coma since November 2008. Donations can be made at OneLoveForChi.com

Rob Zombie to remark the 1958 horror classic “The Blob” that launched the career of Steve McQueen, production to begin next spring.

Guns N’ Roses to finally perform! Two dates scheduled in Japan, December 16, 2009 at the Osakia Dome and December 19, 2009 at the Tokyo Dome.

Ozzy Osbourne commercial pulled over allegations of chimpanzee abuse in a Samsung commercial. PETA applauds the move stating “apes used in advertising are removed from their mothers and abused in training sessions routinely”.

Megadeth EndgameMegadeth’s new album “Endgame” hits the stores September 15, 2009. The entire album is being streamed on Megadeth’s MySpace page.
