The former lead singer of the band, Sebastian Bach, was once quoted saying “Every band has three songs that everyone is crazy about.”  Well, in this case the album has three songs that fit the quote perfectly, “Youth Gone Wild”, “18 and Life” and “I Remember You”.

Anyone who was a MTV junkie like myself can remember these song videos playing on the top ten countdown every afternoon, it seemed like they stayed on the charts forever.  I like to listen to the songs, picture the video in my mind, then check them out on You Tube to see how much I remember of them.  Pretty sick, huh?  

Well, this album also has several other rockin tunes that will keep your volume button up just short of distorting.  “Sweet Little Sister”, “Piece of Me” and “Can’t Stand the Heartache” are just to name a few.  All these tracks make this the best album they have produced by far.  When you take one of the most popular 80’s rock bands, make an album that produces not only three of their best songs, but three of the best songs of the era, that equals big success. 

I can’t imagine any 80’s fan without this album in their collection, but if you don’t have it you need to get it soon!  If you already own it, “dust if off” and turn it up!  By the way for all of you old guys like me, you might want to go to your local couture shop and pick up a rocker’s wig.  It really puts you in the mood.
