Price of admission for adults, anyone over 10, is $15 after 4:00 pm & on weekends, $10 weekdays (noon to 4:00 pm). Seniors, anyone over 60, is $3, children, 3 – 10, are $3 when accompanied by an adult and children under 2 are free. Admission gets you into the festival and you can also enjoy entertainment at any of the Grounds Stages at no additional charge. The Marcus Amphitheater is the only stage that requires you to purchase a reserved ticket.

I read the reviews from the Chicago Suntimes and Chicago Tribune and they were both very positive. Tom Petty still delivers the music. You won’t be entertained by a lot of showmanship and special effects though, just his awesome voice and some very talented musicians. Steve Winwood was the opening act and apparently his set was on the mellow side. He did join Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for 2 songs. These were livelier than his solo set. If you’ve never seen Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, now’s your chance. I hope to catch one of these shows myself. I’ve never seen them and I start to wonder with every tour if it will be the last.
