3 Doors Down, Staind, Hinder, Finger Eleven Tour Dates & Ticket Info
3 Doors Down is on tour. Staind, Hinder and Finger Eleven will be joining them on this tour. Check the following schedule to see which bands are playing at each of the dates.
3 Doors Down released their new self titled album in May. Reviews have stated that this is their “most definitive” album. 3 Doors Down is probably most known for their big hit “Kryptonite” although my favorite song is “Here Without You“. Band members are lead singer/songwriter Brad Arnold, Greg Upchurch on drums, Todd Harrell on bass, Chris Henderson on rhythm guitar and Matt Roberts on lead guitar. They played at last year’s Rockfest but I didn’t get to see them. It had rained most of the day and after watching Hinder, our friends wanted to leave instead of staying for the 3 Doors Down show. I really wanted to see them, but got out voted. Hopefully I will get to catch the tour this time around.
I had the opportunity to see Hinder last year at Rockfest. It was raining during the show, but the crowd enjoyed it anyway. Frontman and lead singer Austin Winkler reminds me a little of Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. He doesn’t necessarily sound or look like him, but his mannerisms on stage and the way he dresses resemble Steven Tyler. Austin really interacts with the crowd and at one point he got off the stage and ran around the perimeter of the crowd giving everyone high five’s. It was a very energetic show and the music was great also. The rest of the band members are Joe “Blower” Garvey on guitar, Mark King on guitar, Mike Rodden on bass and Cody Hanson on drums. I’m looking forward to the new album. Their new album is to be released on November 4, 2008. Hinder is releasing a single “Use Me” from the new album on July 15, 2008.
Staind is releasing a new album The Illusion of Progress on August 19, 2008. The single “Believe” has already been released. Band members are Aaron Lewis on vocals/acoustic, Mike Mushok on guitar, Johnny April on bass and Jon Wysocki on drums. My favorite Staind song is “Outside” from the 2001 album Flip. Staind is headlining some shows of their own. Check the schedules below for their headlining shows.
I don’t know much about Finger Eleven except that I love their song “Paralyzer“. It is one of those songs that no matter how many times you’ve heard it, you have to turn the radio up and sing along and it gets your feet tapping.
