The Who – Tour Dates and Ticket Info
The Who has announced a North American tour in a few select cities. These guys have been around since 1964 and are well known for their hits such as “My Generation“, “I Can’t Explain“, “I Can See For Miles“, “You Better You Bet“, “Magic Bus” “Pinball Wizard” and many more. The Who performed at the original Woodstock in 1969. The Who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Pete Townshend may have been the first musician to break his guitar on stage during a performance. Original members of The Who are Roger Daltrey on vocals, Pete Townshend on guitar and vocals, John Entwistle on bass and Keith Moon on drums. John Entwistle died in 2002 and Keith Moon died in 1978. According to The Who official website, the tour band now consists of Zak Starkey on drums, John “Rabbit” Bundrick on keyboards, Pino Palladino on bass, Simon Townshend on guitar, Roger Daltrey on vocals and Pete Townshend on guitar and vocals.
This is another one of those bands that I wonder if this will be the last chance to see them live. Unfortunately, none of these dates are at a venue near us so we won’t be able to attend. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll add a Chicago or St. Louis date. If they are coming to a city near you, get your tickets now! Be sure to let us know all about your Who concert experience.
